AP Specialist, Eagleville, PA

 

Clear Align is looking for a full-time experienced AP Specialist with strong attention to detail to join our rapidly-growing team. Clear Align designs, prototypes and manufactures custom imaging, sensing, and fiber optic systems for defense, aerospace, and commercial customers.  Clear Align’s imaging expertise spans the UV, visible, NIR, SWIR, MWIR, and LWIR portions of the spectrum, delivering both narrow- and wide field-of-view systems.  Fiber-optic and sensing expertise includes optical integration for communications, remote sensing, and targeting, as well as medical fiber optics.

 

The successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of AP / AR processes, and bring with them exceptional Excel and data analysis skills as well as a positive can-do attitude. This position will report to the Controller.

essential duties & responsibilities
  • Enters invoices on a predetermined schedule keeping all vendors within contractual terms
  • Handles vendor inquiries
  • Responsible for preparing check runs
  • Maintain AP documentation to assist in cash reconciliation process
  • Reconcile AP/AR transactions
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other financial records
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Support accounting with accurate data entry for AP/AR
  • Assist with the monthly closing process and supporting the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department
  • Maintain document control process related to paid invoices including scanning and electronic filing
position requirements
  • 2-5 years AP/AR experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance a plus
  • Manufacturing accounting experience a plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize and document work
  • Ability to work and interact within a team structure as well as the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter dedicated to continual improvement
  • Basic ERP understanding and experience
  • Experience using Visual Manufacturing ERP software a plus
