Quality Inspector

 

Clear Align is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our rapidly-growing team.

The primary responsibilities of the Quality Inspector will be formal test witnessing, performing quality inspections to include First Article Inspection activities, as well as other routine quality tasks and technical documentation functions in support of Clear Align’s Quality organization.

essential duties & responsibilities
  • Verifies configuration of product to ensure conformity.
  • Witness tests, validating procedural compliance and data collection.
  • Perform First Article Inspection activities
  • Assists in internal compliance and audits across all program functions to maintain certification.
  • Define, document, and communicate any process improvement recommendations to increase inspection effectivity.
  • Inspects supplier materials, and or disposition of incoming inspection material, utilizing a full range of precision tools and inspection techniques.
position requirements
  • 3-5 years of related Quality Inspection experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred
  • Experience with Interferometers and/ or Profilometers a plus
  • Experience inspecting optical components, and thin film optical coatings.
  • Familiarity with Visual Manufacturing ERP System is a plus.
  • Great attention to detail necessary to be successful in this role.
  • Ability to present technical data, and audit/inspection results to all levels of management.
  • Ability to write technical reports detailing audit/inspection results.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have Experience working in a ISO 9000 and AS 9100 Environment.
  • Previous high-tech manufacturing/industry experience required.
