Insightful Program Management
Our program managers understand that cost, schedule, and delivery performance are required from start to finish on every program. We work with our customers to ensure we have the necessary insight into their application to enable us to map out a comprehensive multi-layer Program Management, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance and Production Management approach for each program. Clear Align follows a structured program planning process for prototypes, first article qualification, low-rate initial production and full-rate production projects that ensure products are delivered on-time, on budget and meet and/or exceed customer requirements.
Where Quality Matters
As a company with extensive space and aerospace systems experience, we maintain AS9100D and ISO9000 certification in all locations. We have received many awards for our superior quality and on-time-delivery performance, but we do not stop there; We share our metrics monthly with all staff and work even harder to excel and improve as part of our Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement journey. All team bonuses and incentives are tied to on-time-delivery and quality performance aligning your priorities with ours.
Rapid In-House Testing and Environmental Qualification
Clear Align’s instrumentation systems are designed to withstand the harshest environments. Our extensive test equipment capital infrastructure provides a full opto-mechanical-electronics testing in-house capability. We maintain in-house environmental qualification capabilities including transportation and mechanical vibration, weapon shock, thermal cycle, thermal shock, humidity, and salt fog. Our test capabilities include visible, SWIR, MWIR, LWIR and multiband spectrums. These in-house capabilities reduce risk and improve cycle time. Clear Align’s facilities are cleared to the secret level and can support your classified programs.
Experience in Demanding Reliability Requirements from our Space Systems Heritage
Clear Align got its start from an urgent optical subsystems requirement for space. Our space systems fly throughout their missions seamlessly with over 240 systems flying today -- some large and complex and some fit in your hand. We are dedicated to developing and fielding space-based optical solutions for national security space programs.
Our mission-critical, sophisticated optical systems are deployed on a wide range of satellites. Experience of our team includes Hubble Rescue Optical Program, multi-satellite integration (build and test), satellite navigation and attitude control, and optical alignment of satellite sensors and instruments. Our team supported the Mars Observer (MO) satellite programs and simulators (MO-VTL) Verification Test Laboratory supporting Mars Observer missions. Additionally, we helped JPL in the refurbishment program of a large optical system Telescope (OCTL) at Table Mountain and various elements of the Stardust and Cassini–Huygens spacecraft that were fabricated in-house. All this translates to an ability to support todays low orbit cube satellites.
