Clean Room Assembly with Skilled Technicians
Clear Align provides clean room optical assembly operations that eliminates Foreign Object and Debris (FOD). Our manufacturing technicians and operators are highly skilled and certified to IPC 610K, IPC A620 and J-STD-001D Class III and provide advanced optical assembly and alignment expertise. Our clean room operations include ISO Class 8, ISO Class 7 and point of use workspace hoods with HEPA filtration providing ISO Class 6 for more demanding space applications. Assemblies are handled to strict aerospace and space grade standards.
Environmentally Qualified Optical System Integration
We bring our satellite system heritage and discipline to our electro optical assemblies from a simple lens to complex high precision systems. We have delivered tens of thousands of assemblies with 100% test for shock and vibration. We maintain extensive in-house opto-mechanical testing capability including mechanical and thermal shock, vibration, thermal cycle, salt-fog and many other tests. System qualification limits range from a few ounces up to 500 lbs. We are vertically integrated with in-house optical component fabrication, machine shop, optical test beds, thin-film coatings and an environmental qualification lab that positions us to deliver fully qualified systems.
Volume Production with Precision Assembly and In-House Fabrication
Clear Align provides a center of excellence approach from component fabrication to machining with precision alignment that is accurate up to 1/10th of a micron, thus delivering higher performance systems at a lower cost. All operations provide production rate capability and flexible multi-shift surge capacity. Our optical manufacturing production lines have a proven rate capability for thousands of units per month. Our dual electro-optic production centers provide increased volume capacity and reduce risk for your program needs.
Optical Testing
We maintain a full suite of optical testing capability including MTF testing for Visible, SWIR, MWIR & LWIR, including collimators and spectrophotometers. We test resolution performance as well as all basic parameters such as effective focal length, stray light and boresight drift. The expertise of our staff combined with state-of-the-art equipment allow us to ensure compliance to rigorous customer requirements.
