Mission of the Role
The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in ensuring Clear Align’s financial foundation is accurate, compliant, and scalable. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role exists to lead core accounting operations, strengthen internal controls, and deliver timely, reliable financial insights that support Clear Align’s growth as a defense-focused manufacturing organization.
Success in this role is defined by timeliness, accuracy, and operational visibility. Month-end close cycles are completed on schedule with accuracy, financial statements and reporting packages are consistently audit-ready, and management reporting supports confident, data-driven decision-making. Priorities are aligned with the CFO and translated into clear deliverables, including strengthened management reporting, improved inventory and cost visibility, and scalable accounting processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
In Your First Year, You Will (What Success Looks Like)
0-60 Days – Accounting & Operations Immersion
• Gain a deep understanding of Clear Align’s manufacturing operations, revenue streams, cost structure, and financial systems.
• Take ownership of the month-end close process, delivering close on time.
• Deliver consistent monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze weekly cash forecast.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships.
By 6 months – Process Stabilization & Financial Visibility
• Develop and mentor the accounting team.
• Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Improve visibility into inventory, product costing, and working capital.
• Serve as primary audit contact.
By the end of Year 1 – Scalable Controls & Trusted Financial Leadership
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Scale accounting processes to support growth.

Position Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 7+ years of accounting experience with 3+ years leadership in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong US GAAP and ASC 606 knowledge.
- Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
Preferred Extras
- CPA or CMA.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. government contracting cost principles (FAR/CAS).
- FP&A experience.
Salary Range: $110,000 – $130,000
