Clear Align designs and manufactures of cutting-edge imaging and surveillance systems used from drones to border surveillance. 

We are looking for a highly motivated, Supply Chain Manager to join our growing operations team. The successful candidate must have great attention for detail and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for leading the entire supply chain function and reports directly to the President. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provides hands-on Supply Chain leadership within a high-energy, customer-focused environment
  • Oversees the purchasing for materials, supplies, equipment, and services for the organization
  • Responsible for managing material planning and scheduling to ensure department meets on-time delivery objectives
  • Develops supply chain strategies, and objectives including quality, cost reduction, budget achievement and on-time delivery
  • Strong commitment to drive continuous improvement in all facets of team performance
  • Establishes programs or projects to target improvement opportunities to reduce costs and lead times, resolve quality issues and improve supplier dependability
  • Develops and drives recovery measures for underperforming suppliers
  • Accountable for adherence to supply chain and cost reduction targets
  • Trains, plans, assigns, and directs work schedules of the manufacturing team using tools such as SIOP (sales, inventory, and operations planning)
  • Identifies and clarifies customer needs and requirements, and translates those requirements into the production plan
  • Interviews, hires, trains, and mentors the Supply Chain team
  • Establishes and maintains purchasing practices and policies to ensure honest, fair, and ethical relationships with suppliers

Position Requirements

  • Experience managing a supply chain team in a face-paced and dynamic culture
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with an assertive, and adaptable team-oriented professional demeanor
  • Experience with negotiating contracts, and purchase orders for optimal cost savings
  • Strong business acumen with excellent written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proven track record in change management and continuous improvement
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain best practices with experience in successful implementation
  • Ability to work and interact within a team structure as well as the ability to work independently; this includes willingness to share credit for ideas and innovations and keep environment positive and constructive
  • Strong business acumen and an understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations
  • Able to lead with a strong customer service orientation and provide dedicated support of internal customer requirements
  • Must be a proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills including ability to effectively coach and mentor employees at all levels
  • Proven ability to manage end to end supply chain functions in a manufacturing/ defense industry environment
  • Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic and motivational communicator with multi-cultural experience
  • Strong ability to communicate supply chain objectives clearly to leadership, and the organization
  • Excellent team building and project management skills 
  • BS degree in supply chain management, business, or logistics preferred
  • 10+ years of direct supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Visual ERP or equivalent enterprise ERP system
  • APICS Certification a plus
  • Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes
  • Strong understanding for Export Compliance and ITAR regulations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize and document work

We have a strict COVID protocol exceeding CDC guidelines. We wear masks and maintain 6-10 ft distance. We do 100% temperature screening and 100% handwashing prior to entering our building. All meetings take place thru video. 40% of staff telecommute. We care deeply about safety
