Multi-element lenses are used when a singlet lens cannot fulfill the needed optical function due to aberration or wave front distortion, or when more complex optical transformation is required, like beam resizing. Clear Align builds complex multi-element optics including prism assemblies, doublets, triplets and other complex assemblies with or without airspaces. From a simple MILSPEC doublet to 22 optical components aligned in a 1” cube, Clear Align can design and fabricate to your custom specifications.  Our experience in manufacturing multi-element lens assemblies includes optical design, fabrication, coating, in-house metal machining, assembly, test, and full qualification to your specific requirement.
